Edward Burger Photos is a fine art photography project documenting the natural and historic world of the American Midwest and East Coast — from the ancient sandstone gorges of Hocking Hills to the tidal marshes of the Outer Banks, the winter lights of Clifton Mill to the mountaintop legacy of Monticello.

The work is rooted in deliberate observation: returning to the same places in different seasons, waiting for particular light, and paying attention to what's usually overlooked. Whether photographing an astronomical event or a backyard squirrel, the goal is the same — to make an image that holds something true.
